    Yeah the SSGGTS is definitely one of the most durable but what I didnt like about using it in dirty situations is the telescope, I always get those crunchies in there. Obviously it doesnt really affect anything but it is worth mentioning I think. Plus who wants to dirty up their GG ;)

    I noticed a couple marks on Keith from Hawaii pics near the switch so I wonder if something might be underneath the rotating slider, maybe I am just seeing things. maybe some computer duster to make sure nothing is in there?

    Wow Keith, thanks a lot for posting, I cant believe how much shorter the Wiz is next to the L, I figured it would be a couple mm shorter but nope. It also makes the Provari look like a giant, fingers crossed for today.

    From what I hear, the math is different with dual coils, but I cant remember for sure.

    The depth charge comes close to fitting, it leaves less than an eighth of an inch gap between the tank and the connector, you would need to slot your carto an eighth inch higher than normal but it works.

    Man, I am intrigued by that video, since I am only two towns over, can I come by and sneak a peak at it??!! I literally rewound 30 times at around 2:10 into the video were we catch a small glimse, I see a orange protrusion and some blue but dont have a clue what it is, any hints? I want one...

    Also if you do not have a multimeter, I would suggest getting one, as long as the battery did not discharge too low, then it should be fine to recharge and use, but after an atty or adapter has caused a problem, it is bound to cause a problem again, I would toss the atty or carto and the adapter...

    Yup had it happen the other day, some attys have this happen easier than others. It has always been the atty or carto, maybe happened twice. And yes there is a very good chance it was the adapter, those rubber washers get worn out and ground out.
