Comment by 'sapphyre' in 'Diacetyl... You Ruin Vaping...'

Raynen, if you are concerned, why don't you contact your juice supplier directly? They can answer your questions, that is if they are reputable. Go ahead and put your mind at rest, hun, so you can either enjoy your vape or move on to another juice. :) Waffle vape and morning coffee sounds...

    What the .......?

How often are you dripping? Are you flooding your atty? Try blowing them out, drip, and try again.

    Ceramic E2s

Gee, I hope this is the right forum thread for this! I have to post a quick review not only on the pleasure of using these cartos, but also on their resilience. I have not tried the latest generation, but the E2s I have, once you get past the primer issue, are divine to me. Pure juice taste...

How do you label your plastic bottles ect.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing about the hi-tech side. I am really old school, using cheap labels from the dollar store and covering them with the clear tape from, you guessed it, the dollar store. I reuse bottles as well and find it easy to remove labels by soaking them in isopropyl alcohol...

    Coolies :)

I mixed up a few bottles of DIY juice a little over a week ago and made a note to myself: set a specific time each week to DIY. As I was reorganizing my cabinet the other night, I realized something wonderful: I have enough juice to last quite a long while even without DIYing for a time. My mom...

Comment by 'sapphyre' in 'I'm sitting here just saying...."Wow!"'

Sing it, hun. Sing it loud, long, and proudly. I missed singing almost more than anything else while I was a smoker, and I am now starting to even sing in the shower again. :) Isn't it wonderful to lift up your voice and hear real music rather than an unsavory croak? Congrats, Cin.

Comment by 'sapphyre' in 'Day 21... The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly'

I agree with WomanOfHeart. This post made me grin. On the flip side of your food taste problem, I have found I am much less picky than anyone I know because it seems like EVERYTHING tastes better (therefore the reason I need to go on a diet before I blow up to gigantic proportions...). And yes...

    Steeping e-liquid tip

I like the concept, but wish it was true. Have you ever had a dish, say homemade veggie soup, that just tasted better the next day when reheated? The flavors come together over time. I think the same holds true for many juices, though some of them DO taste great the minute they've been made...

    Another 100th Post Thank You

Like Stu99, this is my 100th post, and though I have not been vaping very long, I have a lot to be thankful to the fine members of ECF for. If it was not for this forum, I would have ended up buying one of the high dollar, less satisfying e-cigs from one of the large chains. I can't thank you...

    Some things I learnt today

There is so much to learn as we evolve in DIY! I have made two flavors so far that just make me completely nauseous every time I even get a whiff. The problem with that is my husband LOVES them. Drives me crazy.

    Crap!

One little tip that has saved me a lot of heartache... Buy a little notebook or something JUST for your DIY experiments, and write EVERYTHING you do down. Every single drop, every single flavor (including if it's PA, LorAnn, whatever), and DATE your entries. You'll be glad you did, especially...

    Being Thankful

I have a lot to be thankful for. In fact, if I made a list of all of the things I am thankful for, I would not be able to post it without writing a book. However, since this is my vaping blog, I am going to focus on the things I am thankful for in this arena. I am thankful... ... for not...

Comment by 'sapphyre' in 'eGo & LR 306'

Very nice review! I have been using the Ego for a couple of months now and adore using it with cartos, but you have me pretty interested in trying the LR 306, since I am not sure I want a higher voltage device, but to get a simulation would be nice. Thanks!

How long did it take you to get into mods (and what was your first)?

A month after I started vaping, our favorite supplier came out with a tube mod, and it was so pretty, I just had to have it. I love my Aloha mod, and have no plans to buy another, unless there is a super mad sale on one that has really caught my eye (i.e. a bottom-feeder) or I win it. It's safe...

    Blowing Vapor Rings

OMgosh, I made myself dizzy trying to make vape rings. Too funny. And with an approximate 20% success rating on actually making rings, I think I ought to give it a rest now. *Faint* :P

Comment by 'sapphyre' in 'Day 15'

Congrats Spoomsister, on two full weeks! I know when I quit, those first two weeks went by almost unnoticed while I experienced the joys of smelling and tasting again. Like another vaper recently told me, many things smell so much better, but you can smell the stinky stuff better, too! Enjoy the...

Comment by 'sapphyre' in 'Six Weeks Smoke-Free'

Thanks, SmokeyJoe. The words of encouragement help immensely when it comes to staying on track. It feels good to have settled on a favorite PV and to know that the madness is finally settling down as well. Whether I quit vaping or not, there is no way I am going back to tobacco.
