    King Cake?

Their website looks like they're using The Flavor Apprentice and Flavor West flavorings. I've never had their stuff, but if you're looking to duplicate this King Cake, I'd point you to FW's Tres Leches as the very likely main ingredient. It's a sweet, creamy cake flavor all by itself, and it...

A question for all you E-mixologists.

Maurice hit the nail on the head there. Imagine a mix of maple, vanilla, rum, and coconut. It can taste like coconut flavored rum with maple-vanilla. Or like maple-rum syrup on coconut cream. Or like vanilla flavored rum with coconut-maple candies. You can alter the effect by varying your...

Best tobacco base to add in flavorings?

Exchaner, if you like 7 Leaves with blueberry, I think you'd love it with a touch of FA's Blackcurrant (strong flavor, use very little). It's like a creme de cassis version, very nice, one of very few fruit-tobacco mixes I've ever liked.

White Irish Peach (cocktail-inspired, major YUM)

Reducing the amount of a flavoring that's scorching won't stop it from scorching, so that's not the answer. You just need to reduce the power you're using, however that works with your setup, and you should be good to go. I'm no expert on vaping equipment and haven't used your setup. I just use...

    Wizard Labs Bottles Leaking

Melvin, maybe it's just you and me. I get some seepage from WL flavoring bottles. They pack second to none, but there's usually a little leaked in the inner bag by the time I get it. Never a pool or puddle, just misty. I tighten caps, rinse and dry bottles, and put them in snack-size zip locks...

    DCV Hillbilly Heaven?

Jugband, please point me to the Cracker Jacks recipe or copy it here for me. I've used TFA Caramel Cappuccino at high percents and high power for that flavor, but a proper recipe would be great. If you like Cracker Jacks, you really ought to try Caramel Cappuccino. Don't be put off by the...

How to Steep Your Juice: What's your method?

I steep nearly everything the same simple way: set closed bottle in a cup of hot tap water to thin it, shake the heck out of it, put it in my atomizer, and vape fresh :D Whether from a vendor or DIY, it's my preference. I make exceptions for DIY spice-heavy mixes and tobaccos, which I...

    Pistachio Ice Cream

A little FA Black Cherry would turn it into spumoni, yum!

    DCV Hillbilly Heaven?

I'm sorry, I'd never even heard of it. But a question about 'Hillbilly Heaven' from someone called 'Jugband' makes me lmao. So I looked at their website, and given the flavors they offer, I believe they're using TFA flavorings. If you smell the just-opened bottle and get a little skunky scent...

Looking for Guidance in Making a Coffee House Recipe

TFA Vanilla Swirl tastes to me like melted non-dairy Dairy Queen 'ice cream', just as artificial. It has a huge fan following, so I'm in the minority. I used to get good stuff from Sweet Cream, but +1 on the FA creams.

Help please! What flavors go well with Double RY4?

Like Steve, I usually just add a drop of AP. Caramel, creams, and vanillas are popular additions. Other additives I've tried and liked at some point: FA Nut Mix, FA Cocoa, TFA Plum, FA Jamaican Rum. There was a vendor apple flavor I liked with it, never found out what they used before they...

Pure Vapes has 3ml FlavourArt flavorings

I started DIY intending only to clone my favorite vendor flavors and come up with a few of my own. I figured I'd end up with a dozen good recipes and vape them until I quit vaping. LOL!! Once I found my favorite individual flavors (most are FA, but quite a few exceptions) I went a little...

A question for all you E-mixologists.

That's my method, too. But I usually mix at 3% for a first shot (using most Flavour Art, pretty strong ones). When I find the standalone flavor percent that's right for me, I write it on the bottle. I like to try somewhat random 2-flavor or 3-flavor combos. I write down ones I've enjoyed. When...

Looking for Guidance in Making a Coffee House Recipe

That was one of my favorites, too! Here's something that might taste familiar to you: 5% FW Butter Pecan 5% FW Salted Caramel or Caramel Candy 5% TFA Mocha. At 5% each, it's what I call 'vendor-strength' and will clog coils. At 4% each, I think tastier. At 3% each, it's much easier on coils...

2012 The Best of the Best DIY flavorings from each flavor manufacture

Good reminder, thanks! Best Apricot - 2-3% FA Apricot (not only is it best out of all brands' apricot, it also qualifies as one of FA's very best)

Toscano, the Italian cigars? Cigars aren't my thing, but if you've made a vape version, I'm sure impressed. Have you ever had a commercial (vape) flavor like you've made?

White Irish Peach (cocktail-inspired, major YUM)

Joe, I think your plan is exactly right. Try a fresh coil first, for sure. Make sure you give a few minutes to soak up juice before you apply power (I hate when I burn a new coil!) If you still get anything peppery, dilute it a bit - but my bet is on the coil.

Pure Vapes has 3ml FlavourArt flavorings

FIVE-STAR TIRAMONT (creamy vanilla-coffee milkshake, full of complex flavor) 1% FA Tiramisu 0.5% FA Vanilla (any of them work great here; I use Tahiti) 0.5% FA Vienna Cream 0.5% FA Fresh Cream 0.5% FA Maple Syrup 0.5% FA Coconut (also good with Nut Mix) 0.5% FA Jamaican Rum (optional 0.5% FA...

Pure Vapes has 3ml FlavourArt flavorings

Have you tried about 2% Butterscotch with some Vienna Cream or Fresh Cream? Didja shake the bottle before you measured? Strong as it seems to me, I'm really surprised some of you get such a different impression.
