    FA's is kitchen only, dang it. TFA's component list says it's clear of DAA, so that's a possibility. I wonder if it could cover the citrus in Mt. Dew while retaining the sweet and fizz. Might be worth trying a few drops of FA Grape Concord in an actual Mt. Dew, come to think of it.

    Totally agree with your Concord Grape description, wllmc. It does mix great with dark fruit/berries. I don't know grape varieties well enough to know 'concord' from any other, but I think it tastes like something with the skin still on. I'd love a grape soda recipe if you make one!

    It's closer to fennel than licorice. It has this neat effect of tasting sweet on the tongue. If you don't like those jelly beans, avoid FA's Licorice (mmm, tasty) and especially FW's Licorice (now that's black jelly beans).
