    You could wrap electrical tape around the batts. It is a convenient way to pull them out of your mod and also adds a little cushion for loose batt.'s once you put the door back on.

    My syringes are made by EXEL and they are perfect in the 10ml and 20ml size. I get no leaks from either size. I also bought them through Amazon from Cal Vet supply. VERY reasonable prices, something like .20 cents each.

    You are correct. The 10ml stoppers are thicker and takes a little more effort with the hammer.

    I get perfect clean holes using a hammer and old carto.

    I prefer the 10ml syringes. My tanks I make with those still hold 3ml.
