Unfortunately the soldering tip 'RCA' had to be removed and replaced with the standard size RCA. If you could find a larger style RCA to attach a bat connector, then the Weller would not need any mod whatsoever but unless you outfitted all of your mods with a bigger style RCA(If you can find one...
Thats funny, I'm drinking some pyramid tea right now, I will use the bag when I'm done.
Here is a link for you http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/33274-shredded-ptb.html
My rca socket had threads on it that i had to remove, so i took the connector to work today an took the threads off with the bench grinder, if it wasnt for that little snag, i would say 10 min+ 2hrs for the glue to dry. It works like the coldheat but I can vape it like my 510 bat with the flip...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExmXJUXDJhIMove over Coldheat and make room for the Dualheat. Probably the easiest dual power mod you can make.
I could not find my multi-meter but I can tell from the vapor how well this thing works. It is a 6-volt soldering iron that is switchable from low to...
Once the light turns green you are good to go. Put another bat on charge right after you take that one off so it will be ready for you. Do yourself a favor and get a passthru, this will help with the waiting game.:D
Have you thought about making one untill you get the one you got your impulsive buying heart on?
You can find some prety easy cheap builds in the moders section.:thumb:
It's been over a week now with the mod, I like it, but I prefer the shredded ptb with the straw mod. Might be the amount of VG I cut with. Great mod though.;-)
I just got my in-line battery 510 PT from TECC today and it is great. So far it hits a little better than the 510 batt and for $15.99 I cant complain.:D
It is the only PT I have tried but it hits as strong as a direct usb cable to the atty(I don't suggest anyone to try this).
Thanks man, without you I wouldn't have had this awsome RCA set-up. Thanks for the switch info too, I will do a step by step on my weller when my RCA jacks get here in a couple days. I had to buy a second weller because I like it for soldering and at$18 before tax I couldn't pass it up. Now I...
Back to the cold heat.... I am not very good at the play by play mainly because this is my first mod.
First disassemble the cold heat.
Then remove the brass contacts in the first pic.
I used a RCA socket for the RCA mod(as seen in another thread). I screwed the wires to the posts the...
I think I will start a new thread for the weller.... I think I'll mod the Blue one.:D
for some reason I couldn' link my picture. I have a blue one and a red one.
His RCA mod rocks. I am useing it on my mod because I only need one bat connector for all the other mods I will end up making.
Too bad they don't have any beer lipgloss's out there, that would be awsome.:p
