Finally a way to get the clove, cinnamon, and menthol flavors out of atties and cartomizers! (I use cheap vodka.) It works beautifully! Now all I need to to find something to adapt this to fit on an M401....
;)
Brilliant! I had a couple of cartomizers that I couldn't get clean. I had been planning on tossing them but hadn't gotten around to it. Then I saw this...
I put some vodka in a small cup, put the little ring on a 35 ml syringe (yeah... pretty big!), put the end in the vodka and pumped...
LOL - If you want to add tobacco flavor I suggest you try FlavourArt flavorings. It only takes one or two drops for 6 ml. Very economical! I get mine from Happy Vaper.
:)
None of my M401 atties or batteries have died yet. It has been over three months. I think I have been pretty lucky! However, I will keep you in mind when one of them does die - If one of them does die...
;)
The Kr8 batteries last longer than the 510 batteries. I do have adapters for putting cartomizers on my 510s, but I don't use them anymore. I have the Kr8 batteries now and they work much better for me.
:)
Capella Double Chocolate is great! I don't like it by itself - but that is because it isn't a milk chocolate Hershey bar kind of chocolate - but with another flavor it is the best out there IMO. Almond... Raspberry... Coconut... you name it!
And the French Toast is absolutely fantastic!!!!!
:)
Anytime Sandy! I really do like the FlavourArt tobacco flavors even though I am not a plain tobacco flavor person. I use them as bases for other things. For example I will start with a tobacco flavor and add nut flavors - or caramels - or fruits. It adds a complexity that I really enjoy.
:)
I like the Perfumers Apprentice cappuccino! I use about 15% in my mixes. I do add one drop of FlavourArt Espresso per ml to up the coffee flavor a bit. This is one of my favorite mixes!
:)
All droppers have a different number of drops per ml. The bottles from Capella are different from those from Perfumers Apprentice and so on. Everyone needs to test their bottles and their droppers and NOT assume that 20 drops per ml is the law. Mine range from 45 drops per ml to 18 drops per...
I'm not fond of LorAnn almond - but other people love it. I like the Capella Toasted Almond better. The only way to find out if it will do what you want is to try it.
I do add a bit of Ethyl Maltol to many flavors. It adds a bit of sweetness and some complexity to many mixes. It has a bit...
I use FlavourArt tobacco flavors. I get them from Happy Vaper. I have some tobacco absolute and ethyl maltol. They work, but it is a bit more difficult to deal with.
:)
If a caramel-ish note would help the flavor I use Ethyl Maltol. If it needs a pure sweetness a drop of liquid splenda works. I avoid Stevia. To me it makes the mix taste like burnt hay. Ick! But other people really like it.
The only way to find what works for you is to try it. Get a bit...
Not all flavors give equal throat hit. As previously stated, adding too much vodka can make everything too thin and it won't vape well.
Personally I don't use just VG... I like a mix of PG and VG. And I do add vodka - just literally just drops per 6 ml bottle.
The nicotine level can...
I find that LorAnn flavors are generally very weak. And extracts, like McCormick, are even weaker. They are primarily alcohol. You might want to try Capella or FlavourArt. (I also don't like the background chemical or 'off' taste of LorAnn flavors.)
Good luck!
:)
I haven't used either of those essences... but I am intrigued by the idea. I use several of the savory flavors from FlavourArt and I like them very much. HOWEVER, none of them work as an all day vape for me.
Let us know how it works out if you decide to try them!
:)
For me FlavourArt Tiramisu is one of their weaker flavors. I don't find that it needs to be sweetened, but I do find that I need more of it that I do of their other flavors. For me... FlavourArt flavors generally work between one and five percent. Tiramisu needs at least five percent.
As a...
I use one drop for every six ml. When I need a stronger flavor I use two drops per ml.
I have read that others use a lot more. Just start with one drop, taste, add more if needed, taste, repeat.
Good luck!
:)
I know that I do NOT like LorAnn Root Beer. I have, but haven't tried Capella's Root Beer Float. I think that cinnamon oil makes the best hot cinnamon, but if you don't want to use oil... Oh well....
As previously recommended, you should get the flavors you are most interested in from the...
I use oils all the time. Some people believe that oils are bad. Others don't. When I use them, I add a bit of vodka to help them emulsify as was previously recommended. If you think they are bad... don't use them. Otherwise use them as you wish! They are very strong so you don't need much...
To make a menthol without tobacco flavor you would simply mix up your nicotine and PG to the level you want and add menthol drops until the flavor is as intense as you want. You do need to test as you add drops. It is easy to over do it!
