I'm one of those silly people who believes you should try bunches of PVs and find what works best for you! I also believe that different models work better in different situations and that all PVs have good points and bad points.
I applaud your decision to try a couple different models...
I use several different PVs including the Kr8 with cartomizers. I love them for when I'm driving and refilling would be difficult.
I have been using them for several months. I have dissected several of them - including three that I burnt. I knew I burnt them. I knew I was pushing it...
I made a caramel apple using the PA flavorings and it is quite tasty! I used about 2/3 apple and 1/3 caramel. Sorry, I don't have the exact amounts here with me at the moment. :)
I love the toothpick trick... and recommend that and the skinny tape to everyone who asks how to stiffen up the draw on a Kr8 battery! It is a whole lot easier to make the draw a little tighter than it is to loosen it up - so I would rather have the batteries be too airy than too tight! :)
Redgirl! It was wonderful to get to talk with you in person! I will get the step by step together for you this week... however... I have a tooth infection thing going on and I'm on antibiotics and PAIN KILLERS that seem to kill my ability to think straight as well! So, after the infections...
Message the different vendors and ask them about the cutoff on their batteries if they aren't stated on the sites. Almost all of them are very nice and accommodating.
The newer batteries from V4L have the longer cutoff time. I don't find the cutoff time to be an issue but other people do.
Depends on how you plan to use it. If you want easy, hands free kind of operation get the auto. If you want to dispense with the primer puff and have more control get the manual. Or maybe one of each? :)
I don't like the flavors from V4L. I know many people think they are fantastic, but there are bunches of us (we generally keep quiet because people seem to attack us a lot) who find they have a nasty perfume-like taste overpowering the advertised flavor. So I order empty cartomizers from them...
That isn't true for the M401 PCC (the one that looks like a cigarette pack rather than a cigarette case.) They are smart chargers. I keep mine in the case screwed on the charger all the time with no loss of charge. Of course, if I were to store them in there for months I would expect the...
You might want to click the 'Contact Us' on the Mad Vapes website and ask. I didn't see anything explicitly stating that they do or that they don't.
:)
Send a message to Jack at Happy Vaper. I'm sure he can steer you in the right direction. He knows where to get what in Canada and is wealth of information!
You might also want to check out the Canadian Vapers sub-forum. Good luck!
;)
I use oils all the time and I haven't had a single issue with atties. Where did this "oil destroys atties" idea come from? I haven't seen a single bit of information that shows this to be true. I have read speculation by people about it... but no evidence at all.
When I make my liquids...
Oh yeah! When I started I stocked up on all kinds of menthol since I used to smoke menthol. I don't like it! I vape just about everything else - particularly coffees and caramels and such. I think it is funny how our pre-conceived notions with vaping often turn out to be wrong.
