    My (very basic) 510 juicebox

Using an 18350 1200ma. The very basic jb configuration of battery connector to bottle by HighPing. and a 3ml bottle, It would be possible to get the length down to 4.5 inches, without atty. Would have enough juice in bottle to vape all day and enough juice in the battery also to last all day...

    The E-Pipe Juice Machine

No Clyde a polyfuse is a resettable fuse to protect against battery shorts. It dosn't mean I'm injecting into the cart. Attys just die! The size of that box means battery springs could NOT be installed, would have to increase size of box. Just a note about switches. Scottbee may agree or...

The Mini Juice Machine Mk 3

Mike Scottbee keeps an eye on Madvapes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Post anything to do with electronics and if by magic he appears. Your not screwed. BTW (When I was speeking to Scottbee, Highping, Mr Puff, TWalker, Darchand, nicotime and Clumsy on our new thread, entitled "shall we let Mike play in...

    The E-Pipe Juice Machine

The Post Mortem 1. Copper tape. Works really well when space is limited, but I would advise dropping a little solder across any joints as the conductive adhesive does seem to loose its conductivity a little. 2. The Push Switch. 12v 6a, Works fine but is not really designed for constant vaping...

The Mini Juice Machine Mk 3

Mosfets The one I ordered did not do the job. The voltage required to keep the gate open was too high. I found a UK supplier of ones that should work. Check out this link if your interested. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/madvapes/64214-mosfet-3-7-volt-3.html#post1145236 Google CPC in...

    Mosfet for 3.7 volt

Already tried it, doesn't work. virtually same load across atty. looks like i need a different FET. One last thing Scotbee. I understand only some of the specs of the mosfet. But only some. What am I looking for when trawlling through the UK sites. Thanks again Peter............

    Mosfet for 3.7 volt

Hi I'm trying to source these in the UK, can anyone point me in the right direction. Also do thay work as a touch switch. I've tried using a irf510, It will quite happily light an LED. 3.7v drain and gate voltage. 3.7v across the LED on meter. But the moment I put an atty in as the load, the...

The Mini Juice Machine Mk 3

Now that sounds like a plan! But the total reason I started this design is to use factory build standard attys. Adding a silica wick takes the design into a different direction. Or Not I have just had a thought. If the mod were sold by me or HP or anyone who is working on the configuration , a...

The Mini Juice Machine Mk 3

Thanks Nicotime. I use the RN4081's, I find the vapour to be smooth and warm, and plenty of it. Where as Highping' basic JB Mod uses 510's. There is a small amount of liquid that can seep out of the air inlet holes, but, I also find that when you draw on the atty it is sucked back in. The only...

    Inline Fuses

I agree. My mods use 18650 protected and unprotected with rn4081 attys Placed ammeter on and was vaping quite happily at 0.96 amps. I would be happy to add a 1.5 amp fuse. Resettable or normal. I would have to make a few changes, but if a small normal fuse rated 1.5 amp, where placed within a...

    Inline Fuses

Scott How does one reset the resettable fuse? If it were added within a mod then the ECF would have less cause to object, even if a protected battery were used.

    Inline Fuses

I was thinking about this same solution this morning. It's a very good Idea (A little research is required) Or if Scottbee could jump in and help. I would guess that the fuses in the car are rated for 12v use. I don't know. Maybe a 12v 1 amp fuse would allow 3 amps at 3.7v, again I don't know...

    The E-Pipe Juice Machine

No resistors or caps required if just using a 3.7v bat. Adding an Led is a lot easier than you think. If you use a High MCD LED White or Blue, the forward voltage is around 3.5v. So I didn't use a resistor for it. Just solder across the atty wires, Make sure the long leg on the led is +ve. If...
