    Newegg is ALOT cheaper than tigerdirect. I used to use both, but then tigerdirect stopped having competitive pricing. The only time I go tigerdirect now is if I need something that somehow isn't on newegg, OR if they have a nice deal at the time.

    You can have usps come to your home and pickup the packages aswell. I did it and it didn't cost anything extra.

    Yeah, but I've heard of 510 cartos. I wouldn't want to send a battery or something that he couldn't use. He obviously can't afford an adapter right now and I have none.

    A netbook will do what Gooddog needs, will be more powerfull than an 8year old laptop, and even with an external dvd drive it will be cheaper than going for a full blown laptop.

    yeah, its ......ed. lol, but my friend doesn't make the brightest decisions... He still thinks it was a fine deal... I don't have the heart to show him around the interwebs, since he went back to analogs anyways.
