At 50/50 it's a little bit sweet and you taste the nicotine, it tastes much more similar to a light cigarette than any of the tobacco juices did to me. It is less sweet with less VG. -

I think our squonk bottles are HDPE #2, but they aren't marked. The LDPE are more squeezable. #2 is for recycling - they are more difficult to recycle. -

It's the PG and VG that can go bad over time as far as I know and it takes at least 2 years depending on how fresh the supply was to begin with. I have heard that if you see separation in the the juice and they don't mix after shaking, then it should be thrown out. -

Mine came today and I made my first perfect coil. I highly recommend it! My husband broke a composite shim in half for me to use it on the desk - it would damage most tables if used the way it is made.
