There's a few ways peeps have done this with the IGO-S...
1.) Press out the center pin and cut a slot up to the wire hole with a small cut-off wheel.
2.) Drill the center pin thru, use the existing wire hole as the feed hole and secure the positive leg between the screw head and post top.
3.)...
Good mornin' Reo wielders :)
Sent one of my precious woodies in to Ron for a look-over, didn't notice the signature required, hope it won't be an issue, failed attempt to deliver yesterday :(
Yeah I need to finish polishing the IGO-S cap, didn't want to go too far till I got a chance to vape it after I converted it to a bottom feeder, hits almost as nice as my VA Cyclone(s) :)
Funny thing is all my pictures have been taken with my old iPhone 4
So you are going to offer...
Think I drilled thru the center post with a #55 (.052) and used a #0 combination drill & countersink for the feed holes, had to angle these to clear the lip and get below the wire hole...
So far I'm likin' 1.2Ω to 1.4Ω on mine, seems to be about perfect :) The only sub ohm I do is with my Patriots, same coils I build for my Reo's just 2 of them ;)
For the Reo wielders on the thread :)
A little surgery on a IGO-S, purdy tight gettin' the feed holes in there, this $12 atty with a wee bit of work is hittin' nicely...
Just sumpthin' I wanted to play with ;)
Bottom feeding this thing has turned into a serious test of patience, gave up the last 2 times and top filled, seems the gap between the chimney tube and the inside step of the ring is so small that my needle tip will not fit far enough in to keep the juice from blowing back out the fill hole...
As promised...
The texture of the rings are off a little, really needed to be finer media but as a favor/freebie I wasn't going to ask them to change it out. Still looks purdy decent though :)
Havin' a couple issues of my own to work through with this set-up...
