    Hmmmm.... Would have to machine a plug for the rings to thread on to so the threads are protected, but would probably prefer that to changin' my Russians finish... Only real concern is bead blasting tends to stress relieve metal so it could theoretically cause the rings to deform from the...

    I can go either way... A shop I use to work at has a bead blaster and would do it for me or I can spin the Russian in my lathe at work, decisions-decisions...
