Do you have the IPV6X and are custom TCR values working for you? For several of us, using TCR mode, regardless of the Value, does not work at all. The Mod will heat the coil without any cut off and the coils will glow. I cannot speak for everyone, but I do not believe that the TCR function... -

The IPV400 has a SS304 preset and not one for SS316. He specifically tested the TCR and found that .00115 gave the most accurate temperatures for SS316. I agree with the remainder of your post, but I am hopeful that they do put out an update to fix these issues. -

Thanks!!! Please keep us updated. I will also be keeping mine, but I will be filing a warranty claim to get the reverse polarity protection fixed. If they are able to work out the kinks with the TCR, I will likely purchase another. -

Since the SS316 preset works well for me with the temp cranked up, I think that I am going to continue to use mine for the next couple of months and then send it in to KMG for the recall. Hopefully by then, all of the kinks will have been worked out and they will replace my mod with a new one.
