    Wow, I'm befuddled with this one. Have you tried it on both batteries and several cartomizers with the same result? Are the batteries manual batteries? with a button on them? You shouldn't have to push on the cartomizers at all to screw them in.

    This might seem noobish as I'm pretty new to this vaping myself, not even a month in, but it's worth a shot. Are you direct inhaling or are you filling your mouth up with vape then inhaling? I find that if I inhale directly I cough a bunch, but if I fill up, then inhale, I'm fine.
