    I've seen models without batteries (just a plain wire), so I don't believe they are vital. I can only assume they are included so that you can unplug them and take advantage of the longer battery life...which some people do apparently. :) .

    Mine stays plugged in 24/7 (I use a wall socket adaptor and a USB extension). The battery is just a 10440 li-ion, easily replacable (the PT won't work without one). .

    You could get a 510 to KR808 adaptor and go with cartomizers, which last a fair bit longer. As for size, I am in for two battery mods, one "BB" which will be used at home (with it's pass through most likely) and "The Spade" which will be my out and about unit (being a bit slimmer than the BB)...

    Just type "joye 510" into google image, you'll get the general idea. :) The names and the brands aren't really that important, a 510 is a 510, no matter how it is rebranded...good breakdown of most models here... E-Cigarette Models .

    I read something similar, the person suggested actually using a fair bit of PG or VG to flush the atty...it seemed logical that even if it didn't remove 100% of the primer, that it would massively dilute it. Now that I have plenty of PG I will try it next time I load up a new atty. .
