    I'm going against my Zenesis instinct and purposely laying the unit on its side, with the cap off, wick down... Getting the wick nice and saturated. Feels strange :p

    It's still breaking in so I can't say for sure yet. It's drying up pretty quick with 70/30 PG/VG.. But still waiting before I actually judge it. Pchela, I'm not sure if you need to or not.. I haven't.. I don't *think* so but maybe for piece of mind you should.

    I soaked mine in PG, then nuked it in the microwave for 30 seconds.. Then tossed it in a cup of PG and am going to wait it out. Yeah, I'm careful with it. It's just a lot more sturdy than what I'm personally used to, so it helps a lot with my coils. :)

    I have to disagree. With the #400 mesh, I get a slightly less metallic tone, and I find it more crispy. Goes especially good with red wine.
