    LA is probably where it left the border. I see it all the time with international package.. it looks it doesn't "update". Chances are, it probably won't and will forever say it was processed in LA. For something so expensive like a Zen, I'm really surprised it was shipped international letter...

    I roughly copied you but used the piece from a carto as an insulator ... Probably a tad smaller than yours.. Best wick I've used yet. THIS is the kinda wick for me. I chain vape.. No problems keeping up with me so far. I used #400 though. Noticed my coils are already really gunky though. :blink:

    Try taking the tracking number and entering it on Canada Post's website. It's sent as an international letter though, so that may or may not work. Sometimes, once the package has left the border, they'll scan it and it won't be up to the USPS to track it anymore.. Just a trick I learned since I...

    Yes sir, they glow evenly. I'm not too shabby with my coil wrapping, I'm just completely green with my wicks. I sanded the screw down a little better and it seems to have done the trick.. For now. I'm guessing that the switch wasn't making enough contact, and while the coils were glowing before...

    400 mesh, 32 wire. I've tried 3 wraps, and 4 wraps. It's wicking.. Just not getting hot enough. Checked for hot spots in the coil prior, and get the coil nice and primed. I don't have this issue with the stock wicks, so it's something with my wicks. :(

    Yeah, I've watched them quite a few times. I don't really know what I'm doing wrong at this point.. I vape heavy VG... Roll my wicks so they barely fit in with the insulator.. And roll them tight. It seems to take forever for the thing to fire up.. and just not really satisfying. Will restudy...

    Hm, I think in the morning I'm going to try 3 coil wraps.. With the wick I made, it's just not getting hot enough.. Not as enjoyable of a vape as the stock wicks with 4 wraps. Too much resistance(?) for my taste lol

    I'm still not at the point where I think I could tutor anybody. I am, however, at the point where I can wrap coils without having to mess with it much to get everything glowly perfectly.. You'll get there, Lily. You should go to VapeFest - Zen has a workshop on RBAs... It's a good shot to learn...

    I just rolled the tightest wick out of #400 mesh (no #500.. YET). I'm actually proud of this. I took a good 10 minutes just in the rolling process trying to perfect it though.. But woohoo! Then I realized the batch of DIY I made the other night is mostly VG so we'll see how it works...
