Mechanical Switch V1 has arrived =:D

Got my 3 switches yesterday, and after a little time to figure out which switch was the 5v and which was the 3.7, have both Prodigies and the Protege now purring for me. And I'm purring every time I use them. The current flow with these switches really makes a difference, well worth the cost...

    Proditgy V1 Mechanichanical Switch Ident...

Thanks, just pulled apart my Protege switch and see that it's copper. Now just need to mark the switch so I can tell by looking on the outside. Such a simple design, I can see why Steve's standing behind them with the lifetime warranty. Wish he had this option on the USB Pass Through.

    Proditgy V1 Mechanichanical Switch Ident...

Is there a quick way to identify the V1 5v and the 3.7/6v switches? Got one of each and they look identical:w00t:. Guess I'll just have to swap the same adapter between them with the same batteries to tell by the vapor. Then I can mark the 5v with purple nail polish like I did with the tactile...

    Accessory Ideas...

Guess no interest in the USB extender protector, guess I'll have to make my own. Steve, what is the thread on the Protege battery cap so I can get a tap?

    Accessory Ideas...

Now that Steve has the V2 out, thought it might be nice to look at possible accessories for his products. The one I though up would be for the Protege USB Extension. When you pull out the battery and the end cap, where do you put them? I thought that a small plastic tube with the same ID as...

    Prodigy 2 owners, which atty?

I'm a fan of 901 5v, on my 5v V1 and PS PT. Also use KR8 cartomizers as on these as well. But still spend most of my time on 3.7 volts with the 510 and KR8's, V1 to big to carry around outside the house. That may change when I get my V2 in a couple weeks.

The bad thing about the prodigy v2

I PM'd Steve back in mid December about this, possibly using a 17670 or one in that range to do 3.7v (with different button/switch of course). But the device was to far towards production at that time to make changes. Wish I'd brought it up a month earlier. There would be one other way to do...

Anyone else like 3.7V more than 5V on their Prodigy?

510 is fantastic at 3.7v, 901 great flavor, but KR8/Atomz on the V1 with a 18650 are a dream come true for me. Especially a freshly charged 18650, 4+ volts is so nice and on a 3000mAh battery it seems to stay at that voltage longer. Just ordered the new mechanical switches for both my V1's...

    Prodigy V1 mechanical switch options...

Ok order placed, all my devices will now have the new mechanical switches, and ordered a Protege USB Extension as well. Thought of something that might make a nice add on for the USB Extension. Just a small plastic tube that will hold the battery, and to screw the Protege end cap onto for...

    Prodigy V1 mechanical switch options...

Just saw your tweet from yesterday on the availability of the Prodigy V1 switches. And that you where offering both the 5v and 3.7/6v options. However there isn't an option to choose which version you want on your site. Have two switches in my cart but holding on ordering until I can specify...

Anyone else like 3.7V more than 5V on their Prodigy?

Have to say that 80% of the time I'm using 3.7v mods, both Protege and my non resistor Prodigy v1. Ordering mechanical switches for both this weekend from Steve. I also have a 5v Prodigy and PS passthru that get heavy rotation however. The only atomizers I use at both 5v and 3.7v are the 901 and...

What Size Resister Does The Prodigy Use?

.5 ohm, 2 watt resistors is what they used in the V1. Had trouble finding them, but .49 ohm 2 watt are easy to find.

    Off-topic Kindle

Got a Sony PRS-600 for Christmas, had considered the Kindle and the Nook prior to purchase. Decided against the Kindle when the EFF came down on the Kindle and the level of monitoring that Amazon does on reading habits. And the Nook / Barns and Noble decided to go with a proprietary DRM for...

I just got my 36mg VG today

Gotta order some of the Smilin Special Menthol in VG next order! It passed up Hilton and Peanut Butter Cup as my fav vape. Hope they get juice to match it soon, have a friend I'd love to turn onto the Smilin menthol. He won't touch any PG juice.

    Protege vs Prodigy

I agree with BrockJ, the Prodigy V2 would be a great way to go. The Prodigy V1 got me off of analogs, and I use it regularly with the KR8 carts. I do also use KR8 batteries and a Protege when out in public as the V1 is kinda large and conspicuous, makes stealth vapeing difficult. Ordering a V2...

    Order problem

Did you choose selections for both options, type of kit, and adapter? Or was it a problem once it was added to the cart?

Do you care about quitting the nicotine?

I have no plans to quit nicotine, but then I didn't plan to quit analogs when I first started. Wanted something safer and cheaper was all. But the analogs started tasting so nasty I didn't enjoy them anymore so I stopped. Some day I may feel the same way about nicotine, but for now I'm happy. I...
