I've also been playing around with coil sizes and different configurations. What I've found to be my favorite coil setup for the Rm2, Rm3 and BF Helios is a 28 ga dual twisted wire 4/5 wrap on a 2mm screwdriver, .5 ohm. Plenty warm but not too hot. Heats up nice and fast and tons of vapor and...
I would have to agree. My first buy was the EVOD starter kit. I wish I had researched more before pulling the trigger on that one. I didn't know about ECF
The EVOD kit got maybe two weeks use.
My biggest regret is that I didn't get a Reo sooner. If I had, I wouldn't have spent so...
The only buys I regret are the Vamo v5 and protank II.
The PT2 just sucked and the vamo is now what I use at work to check battery levels for my mech mods.
Well... First off.... If you stuck two .8 ohm coils in it, your total resistance came out to .4 ohms.
Before you go any further start researching ohms law and how it relates to vaping. Learn battery safety. Watch plenty of YouTube videos about proper coiling and wicking AND get yourself a...
Im beginning to think you're confusing a parent / child relationship with a marriage.
Of course this works both ways. A few years ago my father-n-law had to move in with us. He didn't stay very long. He couldn't follow the rules and we had to ask him to move out.
My favorite is... I'm only hurting myself, so why do you care?"
News flash.... Addiction becomes a family disease. It affects everyone you know and come into contact with. Sometimes in a small way, other times in much larger way.
I'm just lucky I guess? I've got a great shop close by and their prices are on par with the online stores. Their in house juice is awesome and the staff is knowledgeable.
I don't think anyone said you "needed to" .... Did I miss it?
As for "outdated".... I guess I'm guilty of being old fashioned then. I kinda prefer walking into a shop and well... Shopping.
I buy all of my liquid from a local shop. Cotton and rayon from the local beauty supply, Kanthal from Amazon and my Mods come from Reosmods. At least all of them do from now on.
Again.... Budget?
You could always go ahead and get him the last mod he'll ever need.... a Reo... reosmods.com
It's a mechanical box mod, a "bottom feeder". Non regulated. They aren't cheep but well worth every penny. You could make it a Christmas and Birthday gift.
After getting a LP Reo...
I've got a Cloupor 30w that works from .3 - 3 ohms. It tells the battery life and reads ohms. Great device! Been using it about 7 months with no complaints. It will work with anything that's 510 threaded.
ETA... I paid $80 for the Cloupor at a local shop.
