My LED never turns green, I just charge overnight and go all day the next day. Well I did when it was in use. It's sort of collecting dust at the moment, to be honest with you. I started using Reo Grands instead.
I do understand that a Reo isn't for everyone though. There is a substantial cost associated with a Reo and BF RDA's.
BUT... I quit buying gear when I bought a Reo Grand. Well.... until I bought the next Reo
That said... The Big Dripper and the Pontus are fine dripping "tanks"...
Yep... everybody wants to be in the sub-ohm group though. The only time you "need" to sub-ohm with the high powered devices is when you want to reach the max voltage threshold. On the ipv2 you can reach the max output of 8.5 volts & 50 watts with a 1.4 ohm coil. And have a lot more surface area...
LED? The LED sucks. You can barely see it. LOL. I can see mine in a dark room. You need to use unprotected batteries. As for authentic Sony's... I dunno? I bought 8 of them last year before they disappeared.
Contrary to popular belief, there isn't any need in running super low ohms on these high powered devices unless you're trying to push them to their max output, even then .2 ohms is probably too low.
At .2 ohms & 35 watts, you're only putting out 2.6 volts. Try a 1 ohm coil at 35 watts and you...
That is a bottle of juice. That mod is a SL Reo grand, it's a bottom feeder. Squeeze the bottle and it feeds juice into the dripper from the bottom. Best device out there IMO, but then again, I am a little biased.
Love my Reo Grands!!
Welcome, I picked up a Cloupor 30w last May and IMO it's a great device. I haven't had any problems at all with it. I also run a kayfun lite + tank on it and love it. 1.5 ohm at around 15 watts. That's really personal preference though. As for batteries - I use Sony vtc-4 30 amp batteries and...
