Since coils are pretty quick and easy to make, why don't you try a longer coil? Say, 2 ohm? Just to compare. Word of warning -- they do take a second or two to warm up, especially if you use 28gauge wire -

Looks really nice! Is it not too hot at 1.4? I found that microcoils feel like much lower resistance normal coils, so I'd imagine this may feel like a sub-ohm coil? Mine looks similar, but is 2.2 ohm, and I still end up having to take shorter drags to prevent choking and drowning the room in... -

I believe it to be subjective. Personally, I don't notice that much of a difference between 4.2 and 3.8. 3.7 I do notice, but not enough to bother me. My wife, however, notices much smaller drops in voltage. -

It's actually easier than it seems. I use strong reading glasses for wrapping. Some use magnifier lamps. You need to try to wrap to where coils are touching, wrapping onto a needle/nail/toothpick/something. Attach the coil with the said nail/something in place, then pull the form out. Fire...- Commie

28 gauge, 14 wraps. 2.1 ohm, unregulated mod. Feels like a .8ohm genesis, but with more vapor. And battery lasts a looong time. Like one 18500 lasting almost all day, though 3ml of juice.- Commie

Reomizer 2.0 specs and design? What makes it special?
Ceramic cup makes for some fresher flavor, and (I assume) a better insulator than the usual silicone. That prevents atomizer from getting too hot and cooking the juice. It also allows for SS mesh wicks, as they don't short against the floor. Posts are far enough apart to allow for different... -

Thank you, Richard! I do understand that connection and switch take up space. My only problem is that it's so much space. Back when I was tinkering with making mods, the smallest mech switch I made for my fugly copper pipe mod was just under 1/2". Most Segelei and my K100 seem to be over twice... -

Low profile switch on a cheap mech?
Do you guys know of any cheap (sub $50) mech mods that have a relatively low profile buttons/510 connections? For some reason most mods spend about an inch of the height on the switch, be it side or bottom, and another 3/4" on the 510 connector :) -

26 gauge scares me. I'm a fan of vaping on the can (old smoker habit). 28 gauge micro coils with low resistance (sanely low, not Pdib's .2 ohm) fog it up so much I can't see. I think with 26 gauge I'd drown.- Commie

They are smaller than mine. I've generally been using 28 ga wire, which prefers slightly larger diameter coils. Mine are about 16ga (1.5mm) inner diameter, yours look like about 18 (1mm)? Well, this one is an experiment, it's almost 2mm diameter. 2.4 ohm, still hits like a truck. Too much... -
