I have several devices. The only ones that see any use are the two Reos, and a home-made plumbing tube monster I made for building and testing coils. It does have an AGA on top of it, but I don't even remember what juice is in that :) -

Unfortunately, mine is 1/16. I stick an 18 gauge needle inside before wrapping it, and it comes out about 3mm or slightly bigger in diameter. The coil looks to be slightly larger diameter than my usual "wrapped around a toothpick" setup. Wish it was thinner, but this works great still. 4 days...- Commie

Need good shorty cartos for bottom feeders.
I third the 1.7 smok tech shorties. Been using RBAs for a while now, but I usually still carry a few of those cartos in my glove box "just in case". Lots of places sell them, Rob's price seems to be good though, with cheap and fast shipping. Some places sell a very pretty clear plastic version...- Commie

Oid is when you stuff so much wicking material into the attys that it is capable of absorbing amount of juice comparable to a carto. Problem is ran into with that is that extra wicking seems to mute flavor. It's very convenient, but kind of defeats the purpose. Some people say they didn't have...- Commie

Another Nextel and Ecowool impression
Well, you could make a microcoil and fit it inside the 116 nextel. I intuitively agree with pdib -- it won't provide enough airflow on the coil directly, and will produce too much throat hit. But I'm totally gonna try :) -

Housing a wire inside is the original purpose of both nextel and ekowool :) Using them as wicks turned out to be a pleasant side effect. -

Depending on how ambitious you are, and how annoyed you got with the ranger, you could contact his superiors, and have him fired for incompetence and harassment. Liquid feed for an old dripper?
Funny that you mention magnum. It does have that option, though they call it "long barrel" :) I haven't tried any other 510 atomizers (not counting rebuildables). Heat-wise, 357 is comparable to a shorty 1.7 carto. Warm, not too warm. A lot cooler than a 306. Having tried rebuildables first...- Commie

If was wondering that myself. Gonna try on the next iteration. I've tried that with cotton a long time ago on A7. That worked, but I think it left more airflow to the coil. This has a chance of producing too strong of a throat hit. Or not, definitely worth trying. -
Another Nextel and Ecowool impression
Ecowool is (as I learned very recently) a misspelled version of ekowool. It's a cheaper and arguably slightly worse version of Nextel wick. Hollow silica. Better than the usual silica as far as wicking and fraying. The court is still out on flavor. I got mine at kidney puncher
