Stripping a Reo?
Get your mind out of the gutter, I mean stripping the paint off a Reo :) My Mini did not like being dropped on concrete, or being carried in the same pocket with a knife, so it's pretty worn looking. So a crazy thought crossed my mind -- what would happen if I were to completely strip the paint... -

Fogger V2 vs Pulse-G
Hi there! I realize that those two are wildly different -- one is vacuum driven, and the other is a genny, but I'm trying to decide nonetheless. Both is not really an option for me at the moment :) Looking for something that would be relatively pocket friendly, in a sense that it wouldn't leak...- Commie

RDA Designed for Bottom Feeders (VMODs)?
The one from reo is actually really designed for bottom feeders. Due to its ceramic base, it's about the best and easiest to set up. Small problem though, it will take some fiddling to get any of the RDAs to sit well on a VMod. The only one I had any decent success with was A7. The problem is...- Commie

Aios throat hit (tank configuration)
So I got my new Aios clone, set it up with cable/mesh hybrid wick, 1 ohm coil, everything is relatively happy. No leaking, no dry hits, no hotspots. However, the throat hit is horrible. I assume it's related to the coil being so far away from the air holes. Have any of you found a way to reduce...- Commie

Having issues with the tank mode :( I set it up with 1/16 cable in the center, with mesh wrapping only outside the tank. No leaking, no dry hits, but the throat hit is atrocious. I assume that's cause the air holes are so far from the coil? Is there a way to deal with that? Oh, 28ga resistance...- Commie

I have my Mini 2.1 back!
I had a VMod XL before my Reos. It wasn't bad actually. I hated the squonking mechanism, so I modded it to be like the rest of the bottom feeders. The inability to use RBAs is what turned me off it. I mean, sure, you can rig one up, but it's very finicky, and prone to leaking after that. -
I have my Mini 2.1 back!
My Mini has RM2 with XS-116, with SS mesh core inside :) And Grand has straight SS mesh, since it requires lower resistance, and Grand has longer battery duration. Good times. Oh, and killer 705 clone was a horrible bust. Little to no vapor, and atrocious throat hit. -

On the bad side, turns out my wife is a freak :( I loaned her my mini 2.1 to try bottom feeders, and she hated the weight, location of the squonk hole, and the hard to press button. So she "upgraded" to VMod 2.0. On the good side, I have my mini back now :) -
Feels like I vape more with the reo
Some atomizers also consume more juice "per puff" than others. Mainly because they produce more vapor. That, and the fact that Reo is so hand-friendly, so you may end up plain vaping more. -

Ceramic cups in RBAs?
Personal preference. Mysterious ways... As the bottle gets low, my squonks on RM2 get inconsistent. But, in all honesty, my RM2s have been working perfectly. I now can make a great setup that will last a few days, or a very passable setup that will last weeks (for vacations, for example). Now... -

Not what I meant by blind squonking. I meant like things with bottom air intake, like cartomizers. Where you judge how much to squonk by amount of gurgle. -

Yup, sorry about it, kind of spaced out for a bit. Been playing with the family, and, since my Reo/RM2 combos have been working great, kind of haven't been here in a while. Now I'm trying to find a good blind-squonking atomizer, so tried playing with the Killer. Next step -- eBaron spiral clone -

Ceramic cups in RBAs?
Morning, Reoville! Long time! So I got a Killer 705 (clone), and tried rebuilding it. Somehow it seems to me that the ceramic cup fits too tight onto the metal tube. Any of the resistance wire that I try to catch under it, ends up splitting the ceramic. So far I've only tried 28ga and 30ga...
