    About the Splitfires: I own 5 of them. All of them are threaded nicely. An interesting note though... 2 of my SplitFires say "SplitFire" on the tank while the other 3 say "V-Core". Otherwise they are identical. Is there an imposter in the midst?!?! :blink:

    Yes, I was noticing that too. But I will be a ProVari snob by the first of the year (unless the Mayans were right) and I am an electrician, so resistance meters are commonplace in my life. Still trying to decide.
