blu - that's wonderful news! when i watch the youtube videos of oxidizing wicks with the butane torches i become deathly afraid--but the lure of the genesis atty's vapor and flavor is far too strong! i have decent experience with a gas stove, haha. do you hold them in your bare hand when doing so? -

has anyone tried oxidizing a SS wick with a small butane lighter (a la cigar lighter) or is it only possible to do so with the larger (and scarier) butane torches? i ask because i feel thai do not have a proper place to set a chef's torch down...i guess space in new york's manhattan is certainly... -

interesting! i see you have a zenesis as do i, blu. have you tried kicking that? i ask because i have a zen and katana and feel their performance might be boosted by some power regulation. do you multimeter the attys to get a sense of the ohms too? i suppose with variable wattage this might... -

that's a great point, jkmtwo. i own multiples of both devices so i am not especially biased either way, but something about being able to order any finish of a provari with any LED choice that i prefer at any time makes me feel more confident about using the device. that is, if i lose it or it... -
