    N/C switch is exactly like a N/O switch, except it is normally closed. Just put it in series with the inhibit pin to ground, no different than putting a N/O switch from the batteries to the input pin.

    the problem with this is, in my experience, the PTR08100W, and other regulators (LM317, LM 350's) still produce an output with a floating ground.

    Someone made some purchases at radioshack.....I have a similar mod in each of those boxes, using their rare-earth magnets to fasten the lid as well. I also removed the screw posts from opposite corners to make room.

    good idea :-) and like I said before, you could always use 1 battery and a boost converter to raise voltage. Since you would only have 1 battery, you could charge in the mod, as long as the battery was able to be isolated from the rest of the circuit.

    i have also found boge's to be the best performers, after trying almost every type out there. The SLB's tend to burn after a few drags, I suspect poor wicking. With the boge's, I can fill, vape nonstop until empty, refill and repeat, and never taste burnt filler. Cigtechs or litecigusa both...

    I am an electronic technician for a military contractor, and in school for electrical engineering. The workmanship of the batteries is terrible. Cold solder joints, cracked solder joints, improper filletts, flux remaining all over the board, improperly stripped wire, etc.

    was most likely just a fluke. Those batteries are junk anyway (not just battery life, the quality of manufacturing). I've been using cartos almost from day 1 and have never had a carto related problem.

    does the charger automatically stop charging in overvoltage/overcurrant situations? or are you relying on the protection circuits of the batteries? Also, from what you describe, you are charging the batteries in series, correct?
