yes, SS is pretty similar to kanthal. i would say its softer than kanthal but tougher than nickel. very easy to work with. the resistance is slightly lower than kanthal though. For normal W mode i usually pulse it real quick at 10w and the coils instantly turn dark purple. after that i just... -

SS can run on normal wattage mode. not necessary to run on temp mode. SS is abit different than nickel coz if u fire nickel on wattage mode u basically ruined the whole coil. SS works fine. there is temp control on the smok xcube 2 for SS but cant comment how the flavor is like on temp mode as... -

TC on SS coils? I'm running it on normal wattage mode. haha. didnt know it could temp control. SS is really special, using normal mode didnt ruin the coils, unlike ni200 if u run it on normal mode u would probably destroy it immediately. -

Did u try the prebuild coil on the rba? the flavour is damn good as well. I'm getting all used to SS coils. it seems to heat up really fast and drain juice quicker even though im vaping at 17w!!! Will keep experimenting but i guess this is my favourite tank right now. -

Uwell crown tank probably is the latest contender. The vape quality is really good with stainless steel coils. Need to start learning about SS coils. DNA 40, NR, Nickel Builds
how do you guys remove gunk from your nickel builds? Ive tried switching to wattage mode and dry burn it at 10w but it seems to ruin the coil. also tried torching it but dosent work. It sucks to have to rebuild it every time I change cotton. Please help!- trdjun
