I tried going in reverse to no avail. For me, checking each coils threads was the only answer. It is extremely frustrating when all they do is cross thread, coil after coil.
If VDF means what I think it does, then here goes:
The prototype is a simple die made out of an out-of-spec kabuki top cap. It was cut lengthwise to expose sharp 'teeth' from the threads. The buddy is twisted onto the coil back and forth to clean and straighten the coil's upper threads. It...
This thing worked wonders for me. I can't wait till the production run. If Zen~ sees enough interest, It may speed things along....
And he answered at the same time I posted. lol. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!
Correct, It just smoothes the upper threads of the coil, allowing you to assemble/disassemble with ease, and when you unscrew the tank, the coil will remain in the base, and the top cap will smoothly thread on and off. Das ist alles.
Sounds like somebody needs a nauti buddy. I had the same issue. Whenever I had to fill, I had to use the allen key to wrench the tank apart, and then would have to wrench it back together. Mike fabbed up a 'nauti buddy' for me to chase the coils with, and it made it so much easier. I believe he...
I meant that along the lines that the glass od could be smaller, resulting in a thinner walled tank. I haven't tried any tanks other than the original (which I promptly broke, because I'm good like that) and spectrum. However, this is not the first time I've heard that IBT has "thinner" glass.
Interesting, but how quickly would you break one? I know that'd be a common casualty for me, and from what it sounds like, others as well. It would certainly gain some capacity though.
The kabuki cannot take a larger tank due to the construction method. It's parts screw together to form the chamber and set the juice flow. IN THEORY, one could alter the juice flow to the wick by unscrewing the top cap, and thus exposing more of the wicking holes to the tank's interior, which...
Vaporwerx coils shipped today. Just wanted to update you guys.
As far as tank glass, I too got an SS one because of my fear of breaking another glass. After that, I picked up some spectrum tanks and have been going with those ever since. Nice and thick, no issue with removal from the device for...
