After seeing some of the mech tube mods on ecf brings back memories of the ss don(megalodon) i bought years back built like a tank with a 5 year warranty still available oversea's mine came from USA at the time.
Here was the stainless one i had in its short mode setup when pic was taken in time...
Used JoyeTech clr's exclusively rebuilt them etc now have hundreds of them for Mrs and i and no need really to make new coils just re-wick them but do save them for gaskets etc like i really need to Nope but just do for some reason.
Then the innokin ares came out never tried a rta and will just...
Those were fun days. Still procrastinating to carve a wood mod with a dna board after all cant be harder than carving a tobacco pipe from a briar wood block still have those. ; )
Guess i'm just an old fart 6 years back use to build a simple plastic box by buying separate parts the box a volt meter and separate ebay board vaped in volts only kinda like a provari volts only.
At one time madvapes had a kit with all the components to build one also and tried them as well ...
If mine would un solder that wire and shrink wrap it or better install new insulated wire .
Would not trust it as is bringing it near face with bare wire and also unknown leaking juice that can conduct an unwanted current.
Hope you get that solved.
The coilmaster is nice its good for making a bunch of coils quickly in one sitting then putting up for a while.
As for a meter never saw a need personally in last 7 plus years.
The ares when first came out were problematic from what was posted in some threads and perhaps not correctly wicked as well then supposedly QC was corrected not sure about that though.
Ordered 2 of them cleaned 1 out well before use other set aside filled it and after half a tank started leaking...
Well good for you 5 cigs in 2 weeks is great start .May i suggest to keep trying and hold your ecig close to you when you get the cig urge . You can also increase ever so slightly the nic content to suppress the urge if you find it is not going away.
Before you know it you will be successful...
Please feel free to post questions and comments!
There is a big following for clr coil heads which are easily rebuild able. When the Zenith tank came out was hoping it would accept them because it is a topfill tank unlike the tanks that fit clr coil heads all of which are bottom fill tanks...
Used to clean my tobacco pipes stems with pipe cleaner and ever clear and they were very clean certainly a cig holder would get clean as well the same way.
