Well after 3rd tankful it started leaking at the bottom gasket took it apart washed and dried put back together and eyesight not being what it used to be with a loupe made sure bottom o-ring and top one were properly seated.
Screwed it on nice and tight another 2 tanks vape and no leakage...
No leaks except going form warm house to outside in winter and if the dogs take there time out there then once back in it sometimes leaks around bottom not so much with megav2 but with the first mega with large slots for viewing e-liquid it has a greater chance to leak around the bottom.
DP love ya babe but no not wide open taking a draw on both tanks in that fashion.
Now vaping with the 3 small airholes only and its very similar for the draw of the megav2 i feel but as you said we are all different .
Gosh Phil states 17 watts is recommended and it may be for some but tried it...
Never had any tank larger than 22mm when this came put it on the SMY dna 75w and there is a slight overhang but on the dna VT 75w nano there is no overhang at all either way glad i do not have to buy a mod to fit this tank as really do not need more mods.Will vape this exclusively for a week or...

Too add as some that maybe newer to CLRs the .5 ohm has a larger airhole at under the bottom pin compared to the 1ohm CLR which in turn draws more air in with the vapor.
For some its too airy then, but for others its a nice vape.
So as mentioned in past in thread the 1ohm is tighter on the draw...

Does the coil head come apart such as can the pin on bottom pull out to expose the ground and positive wires?
I have rebuilt some CL coil heads making a horizontal coil in it and worked fine out of curiosity but clr coil heads...
Per Sugar n Spice great advice would like to add - Mrswood you show a CL coil head known to be a hit or miss may i suggest a clr coil head same company and made for these tanks as well they have knurled bottom ring to screw down allowing more e-liquid to the coil for high VG users or one can...
There in lies the problem thats a "cl " coil in your tank known by many here including myself not to wick properly and the e-liquid i make is at 96% PG thin as water and still today vape at 12.5 watts.
The Clr's are the ones you want for the accepting tank.
