well it still all comes down to amp capability..I built the spitfire mod off the OKR buck regulator and the person using it runs 1.5 ohm DCC's at 6V constantly....at 24 watts you have to use a tank for this obviously to keep it saturated well but paired with 18650's it works fine for them and is... -

perhaps instead of trying make one blow up..create an equivalent force in a different manner somehow..ie explosives, compressed co2 or some other means..then test the mod in that manner -

only thing is those meters dont work well on PWM outputs maybe adding a 10uf cap might help -

I dont think thats wise as your still running all the current through the switch..best to stick to a 3 amp rated switch or at least a higher volt rated 2 amp switch...sure dont want it welding itself into an on condition -

redilast uses the same panasonic cells as the AW blacks which are Lithium Cobalt. The plain AW reds are an IMR high drain lithium manganese chemistry with much higher C rates rates then cobalt like 10C vs 2C or there about.- berger
