    You should really follow whatever suggestions the manufactures says about the battery initial charging for maxium performance and life. Some manufacturers say charge over night, use for 20 mins, and then recharge for 2 more hours even if its green. Allot of people really like the CE2...

    Ive had my riva ego for a few weeks and have had no problems what soever with either battery. The plug in charger seems faster then the usb charger as I think its a fast rate charger. That's why you not supposed to put regular 501's in it I beleive.
