    Yup, I agree and can see that now. It was a real struggle with just 500 ss mesh, hot spots be damned. The mesh and rope, very easy to wrap on and easy hot spot fixing. Since the metallic taste is coming from the oxidation, do I need to torch the rope if the coil is touching the mesh instead?

    Get a drill bit and enlarge the hole to 1/16 by hand, its soft brass and easy to do. Step up to 5/64 or 3/32 if needed....send the 3 grands to Rob to be milled down and for the new contacts to be installed and you'll be very happy.

    Odin Dual 26G 6 wraps 5/64 ID RM2 Used to do 6 wraps 3/32 ID of 24G, before my Odin with zero issue and it was great! I rebuilt it a few days ago and omg was it hot hot heat. Maybe I'll try 8 wraps of 26G at 5/64 :) I hate 1/16, the wick is too tiny for the lower ohms I like.

    I have a working 1 ohm setup. However, if I tilt the mod down towards the wick, it will fire and not glow red. The moment I tilt it the other direction and it stops wicking is when the vape becomes extremely hot and it glows. What am I doing wrong? Should I make a new wick?
