Just got email replay from Steve Wood Courier-Post

That was a great letter. Sorry the response was so pathetically weak.

So - are we getting it or are we not - nicotine

Yeah, I thought for a whole day before I asked to be included on the wish list. Unfortunately, I don't like the snus except for what it gives me that I need. I'd drop it in a New York minute if I could get what I need from e-liquid. I've even been thinking of trying Tropical Bob's snus in a...

So - are we getting it or are we not - nicotine

Please put me on the list, too. (Parts of me don't even want to try it because I'm afraid it will actually be what I want and I won't be able to get more, but the wild and crazy side of me says "life is short-go for it.") So keep rolling those issues around in your head, DVap, cuz we're...

    snus for a beginner

I don't know if you've tried General Mini Mint, but it's sweet and has no saltiness that I can taste. I prefer sweet, dessert type e-liquid and so far the General Mini Mint is my favorite. The straight General mini's taste like crap. I keep trying them because the can is opened and they're...

Beta Carboline MAOIs - towards a more effective e-liquid

So glad to hear from you tceight! Hope things are better on the home front. Regarding CigRx, all I could find was two threads: tobacco alkaloid pill? and CigRX Launch and it seems like I remember Katya trying it out. Can't figure out how to link them and can't re-read them today due to...

Beta Carboline MAOIs - towards a more effective e-liquid

Although I was aware of the relief cigarettes provided for 46 years, I only learned about the MAOI connection through these threads on ECF in the past 9 months. Finding out that it has been known for decades and no one has followed up on it forces me to agree with you guys that this really is...

So - are we getting it or are we not - nicotine

Count me in on that campaign. I have become accustomed to having a snus packet in my mouth but would prefer to skip it and proceed with just e-liquid+ if I could. I can't afford to hire a chemist. I'm also interested in DVap's answer to Stubby's question.

Fox News: John Stossel supporting e-cigarettes

I sent a testimonial about having accidentally quit smoking (after 46 years).

So - are we getting it or are we not - nicotine

This thread saved my sanity on many levels. It's a great read, I now use Swedish snus in addition to vaping, and I discovered why I'd been self-medicating with cigarettes for 46 years--MAOI's. With that knowledge came a psychic shift from "I'm a useless idiot who can't quit smoking even though...

Anti-smoking Drug Suits Filed Against Pfizer

My nurse-practitioner recommended Chantix to me when I was in begging for some valium to help me cope with anxiety and depression over my daughter's bi-polar diagnosis. She wouldn't give me the valium. I really wasn't thinking about my smoking at the time--wasn't why I was there in the first...

SE, NJoy vs FDA -- Discussion

I dunno. I enjoy Sailorman's perspective. Nice change from the "approved" company line here. And thanks again, Julie!

    The war against electronic cigarettes

I've found NOT having a lighter to be inconvenient, too. I've used them to burn rope in half when I had no knife, to make a ballpoint pen start writing again, to unfreeze a padlock in the dead of winter. I've considered finding an old one and keeping it in my purse for emergencies like those!

    Death and depression/bipolar

You have every reason to be depressed and feel awful. You've been getting some bad breaks and for quite a while. I've gotta reiterate what 316lvm said. You can't help your sister's situation right now. You've got to take care of yourself first. It's a really hard thing to do, especially...

    What makes good palate cleansers?

Parsley is a palate cleanser. That's one of the reasons it's decoration on your plate in a restaurant. So eat some parsley--it's good and good for you (and your palate).
