I call it ADP Mod.. Auto Drip Mod!
I've been trying this in a number of ways, and I keep coming back to using a regular poly-fill (standard filler, from a cart) as my plug. The blue 'fish foam' has officially driven me to madness, as it's either too loose and leaky or too tight and dry. Still looking for the perfect 'plug'...- Synthnadz

What color xhaler did you/will you get?
Am I the only one who went with the stainless steel version? It seems like you all have a tolerance for more 'flare' than I do. ;-) -

Already got my shipping notice 5 minutes ago. ;-) There's one good reason to like Drew better than my 'other 5 volt mod vendor'. Drew doesn't act like he's doing us a favor by selling to us. I really appreciate that distinction. =] -

Drew noted that the 18650 batteries would not fit, as they are too big. They are fatter than the rcr123a batteries, which is why the rcr123a's are a bit lose in the Prodigy tube. ...D -

So, here are some more details from Drew himself. I just talked to him for quite a while on the phone: - The 'basic' unit will run at all voltages, and comes with 801 and 901 adapters. - The resistor is really a plastic endcap on the battery. When screwed in, it cuts down the voltage to around... -

Hmm - are there other models / kits coming? I just ordered a stainless 'basic' since the page finally updated and I didn't want to miss out. Of course, I don't even know what atty adapters are included, what batteries it takes, or anything else. Hope I didn't corer myself here. ;-) -

I have no interest in a refund. What I want is pretty clear: A Prodigy with a reliable switch that doesn't lend iteself to premature failure. You know, probably just like what PS is working on for the V2. Your suggestion that I should for some reason be happy with the 'bugs' is outrageous. Sure...- Synthnadz

Fortunately, I have a VP2 that I was never able to sell that I'm using now in the interim. Of course, with my Prodigy being out of commission for most of the last month, it's now pretty much my main PV. I'd rather this wasn't the case. ;-) I only wish there was another viable 5 volt alternative...- Synthnadz

I totally agree with your findings. I've used every type of atomizer - and every variant / brand of each type - at every voltage, and nothing beats a 510 at 5 volts for me. They're going to make you send in the defective switch, MaxUT. That's the policy they offer, without exception. So, you may as well get that thing in the mail already.
