    Low bridge 801's

Thanks Sun... One question though: The Janty Kissbox atomizer (there's actually a picture of one in this thread) seems to have the low, thick, 'rounded' bridge that I'm looking for as well, but this is a Joye 302, right?

    Low bridge 801's

Interesting, Sun Vaporer.... I really wish I actually *knew* which atty I was looking for though. I'm kind of conceptually stranded right now, in all truth. Is it a low bridge 801? A Joye 302? An RN4072? I don't really know. I just know that I've hated the BE112 as well as the high bridge...

    Low bridge 801's

Interesting Tone - the plot thickens. ;-) I just went to the Joyetech website, and found this image: I'm thinking that these are probably the 801s, but I've sent them an email to see if I can get some more specific information. I want to know for sure that these are in fact the Kissbox attys...

    Low bridge 801's

RenaissancePuffer... That certainly looks quite similar to this atty here - almost identical inside. Perhaps I should just bite the bullet and order a few of them at $17 each. I'm really alright with spending $17 on them if the 6 month warranty holds up. It's actually a better deal than...

    Low bridge 801's

Thanks Tone - that's a very useful list and I appreciate you taking the time to post it. I just emailed First Union Technology to get the scoop on the RN4072, but who knows what that will yield. ;-)

    Low bridge 801's

I just heard back from Vaprlife, and all they could give me is this: The atomizers I love had been coming from a China supplier here: http://www.bauway.com/index.php They didn't give me any specifications or 'model number', but they did tell me that they were no longer going to sell their kits...

    Low bridge 801's

Tone... From what I've read, the RN4072 attys are out of production. This is the reason I suspect that the Vaprlife attys may be something else, even if the description is so similar. What an exhausting puzzle this has become. ;-)

    Low bridge 801's

Interesting. I'd love to find an image of the Janty Kissbox bridge to check out, just for kicks. Of course, all of this would be really easy to resolve if I could just get an answer from Vaprlife. So far my efforts have been unsuccessful, which is a bit confusing.

    Low bridge 801's

Thanks Tone - that's been my suspicion all along. Now if I could only locate a true RN4072, I'd be all set. ;-) Vaprlife must be getting them from somewhere...

    Low bridge 801's

I've actually examined two m201's, and they're very different. The 201 has no air holes in it at all, and the threading is slightly different. So, unfortunately it's not a 201 either. I certainly do appreciate your help though. :-)

    Low bridge 801's

No markings at all, unfortunately. The only unique property is literally the color scheme. I've yet to see this anywhere else. The bridge looks totally different than the others I've investigated, as it's very flat and almost totally round, like a circular 'mound' of mesh. The quest...

    Low bridge 801's

Wanted: Identification of this 801 Atomizer: This is the 'stock' 801 atomizer that ships with the Vaprlife VP1 and VP2, and it is so far the only atty that does the job for me. It has a low and wide bridge, and gives off a very easy draw. Does this look familiar to anyone? Again, I've tried...

Getting Annoyed : This is an effective method of prolonging atomisers

I'm thinking that this 'batch' of 801s must have had a different wicking material, as mine most certainly did burn. There are also a bunch of threads around (mainly from 501 users) about encountering this wretched, unfixable burnt taste lately, many of which also have identified their wicks as...

    Huge difference in 801 attys

quovadis... If the Janty classic atty is working so well for you, why wouldn't you just buy a few of them? I mean, no one expects an atty to last more than a few weeks, and the Janty classic has a 6 month warranty on it. Couldn't you just buy two of these, and send one back for replacement...

    Huge difference in 801 attys

wv2win... Scores of forum members are also reporting that the 'high bridge' 801 attys are terrible compared to the older low bridge versions. Forum members are also reporting that the BE112s are substandard, and that the protruding pieces of fiber glass wick material are yielding a wretched...

    Huge difference in 801 attys

wv2win: I agree that having a solid device is a fundamental necessity, but thinking that a solid battery unit will somehow circumvent issues inspired by a marginally designed atomizer simply isn't a fair assumption. I have a VP1, which is designed to work with an 801 / BE112, and the BE112...

    Huge difference in 801 attys

Thanks so much, RenaissancePuffer... I'll be eagerly anticipating your report. ;-) The Janty attys are $17 each? Wow. I sincerely hope that it doesn't come to that, for obvious reasons.

    Huge difference in 801 attys

The BE112 is the 801 atty from Bestecig.com. These are generally well-liked throughout the forums, but I myself haven't been digging them at all on my VP1. They're like a blend between a high bridge and a low bridge, you could say. They're not as high as some of the others, but they are still...

    Huge difference in 801 attys

RenaissancePuffer... Can you possibly let me know when you test the TW 801 attys? I just ordered 10 of them out of desperation, and now I'm hoping that they live up to their 'low bridge' description and the implied performance boost. I'm also considering ordering some JOYE302 attys from...

I know why 510's have this crap, but they work better without it

Briar, Your summary is on-point with my own experience and understanding... Note: if anyone wants to spend the time and money creating atomizers that actually work, I'll spend a pile of money on them. These things are just not ready for prime time, IMO. ;-)
