Yeah, but that's hardly conclusive evidence. I find it strange not one Xhaler owner owns a meter and has some free time to back up their favorite vendor...
Did any of them post a video showing it attached to a meter dropping 5v to the atty, or at least a test load?
Honestly, I wouldn't have cared either way if it weren't for the "inventor"'s terse, dismissive attitude... like everyone else in that thread was incapable of grasping Ohm's Law. If...
Did he finally put a video with it measuring 5v, or are you just going on his word? Because the last I recall, he was insisting everyone just take his word for it, then deleted the thread :lol:
There was a thread with a video showing the Xhaler doesn't really do 5v, and it eventually got deleted without a proper rebuttal from the "inventor"... maybe he thinks you're one of the skeptics
I got all of mine from China, so it wouldn't be very cost-effective, unless I went through 'em like crazy and returned them en masse before their 6 month warranty expired... been using the same one for 3 months so I don't think that's likely :p
No proof yet, and highly unlikely there will be. The "inventor" has made it clear any inquiries on whether it does do 5v are just personal attacks on his character... LOL. As for 6v, there can be burnt taste if you let the atty go dry... keep it inundated and it works great :)
I use these for 6v:
2 RCR123A 3.0V 750mAh Rechargeable LiFePO4 Li-Ion Batteries with AC/DC Smart Charger
lil chuck uses these:
Ultrafire 3.6V 880mah Protected Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery RCR123A CR123A 16340 CR16340
You can get a Chuck with a 510 thread and use a 510>cartomizer...
