Which RBA for a Reo Grand
RSST is a tank RBA. It won't screw onto a Reo natively, you'd need a 510-510 extention. And even then, it kind of defeats the purpose -- RSST is sealed, so you won't be able to squonk (feed) it. Pretty much you'd be using a Reo as just a battery mod, not a juice delivery system. -

That is actually a good thing :) Try to give your Reo a good bath and sniff the 510 connector after. If it still smells burnt, you may need to refurbish your Reo, which is a lot cheaper than replacing the ERA. Rob does it, or he sells a repair kit that would replace the rubber gasket. You may... -

I have a very bad feeling about it. Can you test the mod with another atty and see if it still tastes burnt? My concern is that you may have melted the plastic parts of the ERA, which, to my knowledge, are not replaceable :( Or the rubber gasket in your Reo, which is replaceable. The best... -

Uuh, I still like A7. As my first (also 2nd and 3rd) RBA, A7 will always have a special place in my box of vaping stuff. Its indestructibility and leakproofness rivals those of Reos themselves. If I could drill a side of them, I probably wouldn't feel the need to switch to RM2 or Hornet. But I... -
Reo Grand Arrived Today!
If the juices are not compatible, I take the bottle, battery and atomizer out, and give it a bath. I run very hot water into the well and watch it come out the tube. Seems to take care of the strongest juices, even switching from citrus to coffee :) -

Coffee used to do that to me, since coffee and a cigarette was my dirty pleasure back in the day. The solution was getting coffee flavored juice and vaping it :) So in you case, I'd suggest some chocolate flavored juices to get both fixes in one.- Commie

shaking machine/contraption?
I taped a large prescription pill bottle side by side with a drill bit (3/4" spade bit, in my case). Stick it into a drill, put your juice bottle into the pill bottle, and give it a spin for a minute. May not want to turn it to too high of a speed.- Commie

Does anyone use sewing needles to thread wire into post?
My RM2 is in the mail, but based on experience with other RBAs, I'd say it's very unnecessary. 30ga and thicker wire is stiff enough to act as a needle itself. Matter of fact, I stabbed myself with it a number of times, and once had to remove a half inch kanthal splinter out of my foot after... -

An Affordable RBA 2.0
Third method -- put your atomizer on a mech mod without hot spring, and pulse fire it. Hot spots heat up and oxidize the coil until it glows even orange. This takes progressively longer with thinner resistance wires. With 30ga it only take s a few minutes. With 28, it's even faster.
