    The Green Ultrafires didn't fit for me. The blue and yellow Tenergys did (Not sure if we are still using those?). The Red AW LiMn batteries (3.7v) fit as well.

    Just a thought, and it maybe a band aid and not a solution, would the paper-clip mod work on a 510? I don't have a 901-510 handy so I can't test it.

    I was thinking about that. The 801 is long enough not to be an issue other than the hole in the cap. I'm assuming the 510 is too short without the mouthpiece, but a touch too long with the mouthpiece + the AFS tip. I'm guessing if a person whacked off a few millimeters of the 510's...
