Here is a mod to adjust the draw and the hole alignment without having to worry about mystery metals leeching to juice. Very easy to make with off the shelf equipment. 1 a phoenix clone and a esco E1 clearomizer tank and screw on driptip holder. Do not even need a drill just hold bit in hand and...

Not to long ago I attempted a similar thing it seemed to work pretty well. A couple of things different tho more of my tank showing outside of the box so you might try addiing a 510 to 510 short extentder. and I was using a 5mm fast changing LED. Here is what I was getting in normal room light...

A Tutorial for a DIY VV Dual 18650 Wood Mod

Love the changes you made nice recessed tank. Yea the green one isn't very bright but you might try the 3mm bright blue one it's a lot brighter. Great job. Thanks for posting.
Hey thanks for your answer. Luckily for me when I got the 6 amp I also picked up a 3 amp for another mod I am currently building so can test first hand.
Here is one I finished yesterday. Tested for 24 Hours works fantastically.
Used a OKR-T 6A regulator (Thank you to bstedh for a nice diagram and great thread he posted) My first Switching Reg.

Great job! Very nice for a first mod, most first mods look like spaghetti inside but not yours very clean looking. Also pretty smart to recess your tank a lot more pocket friendly. If you don't mind me asking where did you get your PTN04050c from, buy it or sample from TI - if sample when and...
Thank you. The only wood working experience I have is trial and error for the last 4 months. I love the way wood mods look but my pocketbook kept saying no go. So I jumped in with both feet researched ecf and made (2) wood mods. A gigantic one with as many bells and whistles as I could afford...
TI = Texas Instruments apparently they have a program where you can order part samples before you buy (except now for certain parts)
the chips I was trying to order are for VV mods.
yes you can use those but it will be a little bit harder to position and glue them down so that the positive button lines up with the positive button on the battery and the negative spring sits in the middle of negative side of the battery also make sure they are secure or even braced below so...
