It's not a T3S is it? The heads are different to Evod/Protank because they have a smaller diameter flange. If you use an Evod head on a T3S it will stop the base screwing on properly. I'm not inclined to recommend the T3S although it works OK and is cheap. The flavour is also better on a...

I agree, if the air bubbles are not releasing from the wick area it may be causing the juice to wick more slowly than normal. I only have this problem on the narrower devices like the mini Protank 2. Flipping the rubber cap over has solved this completely for me. Another issue that can cause...

Recoiling is not difficult, and it's possible to make an extremely good coil after few goes. Mostly I build the coil on silica wick, but I don't rebuild every time. If I have a very good coil I will dry burn it and use it again. Cost-wise, it doesn't take much to rebuild each time. It...

Even funnier when you realise that I'd only written it a few hours before. Questions seem to come in batches, which is when I have been starting to blog them. What sort of burnt taste is it? If it's the ashy taste you experience while dry burning then you do need to boil after dry burning...

    On dry burning clearomiser heads

Note: also applies to atomiser coils of any type however the disposable CE4's referred to in the quote are not really suitable for this treatment as they can not be dissassembled. After dry burning you really must boil them otherwise you will just be tasting the burnt ash from the dry...

Unfortunately an emotional roller coaster ride is a common side affect of not smoking, and it's not all just about the vagaries of the equipment. It affects everyone differently and the people who tell us to just stop smoking because all that is required is a bit of willpower are correct for...

Yes, when they are cold the performance is not as good. You can get around this by turning them up slightly, or taking longer puffs, however you must remember to adjust it back after one or two puffs otherwise you are in burn city again!

A lot of people are using 100% cotton wool. You boil it three times to remove any sizing or other manufacturing by-products. For Yarn, I think you want about 5 ply or just under that. If it's too light you can double it up. You can also pull yarn apart if you need extra flavour wicks...

That's great! I agree it would have been a shame to put the Evods to one side. As well as not getting a sore throat you should be finding that the heads are lasting a lot longer for you. Very pleased I could help.

Nicotine is generally not considered to thicken a juice by any appreciable amount, even in relatively high and unvapable amounts it doesn't seem to have much affect. By far the most important factors are the percentage of VG and the temperature. Regarding temperature, I live a the sub tropics...

Vaping is not as addictive as smoking tobacco

Yep, vaping is the bomb when it comes to giving up cigarettes. Unfortunately for those making the switch, nicotine is not all of the alkaloids in tobacco. We call them WTAs or whole tobacco alkaloids of which nicotine makes up about 90%. The other 10% are other alkaloids (anabasine, anatabine...

    Bottom Coil Clearomizers

I seem to be writing the same thing about bottom coil devices lately, trying to stop people burning them. Usually they have heard wonderful things about them and try to turn them up to get them to perform like a smoke machine. This is the wrong approach that will ultimately lead to...
