I do not think this means that the bays are not independent. Rather, I suspect it's simply that the charger has a limit to the total amount of power it's willing to use, possibly due to the capacity of its external power brick, or the amount of heat it can dissipate internally. To test...- Rossum

Titanium wire coils?
The subject of possibly making coils out of titanium wire came up recently in pdib's big thread starting roughly here. pdib himself found some 24 gauge for sale on eBay and asked the seller what the resistance was. He was told it as a bit over 5 ohms per foot, which would have been great... -

Nicotine probably doesn't survive burning, but that's irrelevant. Hot smoke from the burning ember at the end of a cigarette is pulled through adjacent tobacco that has yet to burn where it vaporizes nicotine and carries it to the smoker.- Rossum
