You may want to be careful with buying any old battery, I only use AW IMR in my vmax. With unlabeled generic batteries you get off of ebay who knows what they really are. Your devices are only as good as the batteries you use. You may have gotten a deal but since my Vmax uses 2 stacked IMR...

thats funny! lol but believe me if i wasn't content with the performance of my dual coil carto tank i would be doing everything i could to get the RA Tank up and running. I am only going to the RA Tank because i hate relying on china cartos for a good vape. I just get so frustrated some times...

I like my vmax, no need for a multimeter as it reads resistance and it has a 5 amp limit and is variable to 6 volts. It also has protection features so it would never let me run something with too low resistance on it, i only tried the carto wire in the RA Tank on the vmax and lavatube mini so...

There may be an amp limit on the roughstack or a voltage limit i am not sure but i doubt you are pushing 17watts that would be a ridiculously hot vape......

interesting side not i just scavenged some wire from my used dual coil tank cartos and tried to use that wire on the RA tank while i wait on my roll of wire from mountain oak and it would not work at all it just wouldn't even fire even using the same mesh I had working before... i thought any...

I was also blown away at how good the Vmax was now thats all me and the wife use our other mods are collecting dust.

also while mine was working I was not that impressed i swear my dual coil carto tank hits harder.....not ready to give up on it yet but need some advice.

Is there any better setup on the vmax than a dual coil tank? Bought a RA Tank and it doesnt cut it compared to the dual coils on the vmax what do you think mac? I think the vivi nova and even dripping with an atty pales in comparison to the dual coil tank setup.....

what gauge works best 32 or 34? i will be using this on my vmax so volts are adjustable.

ok so i tried to make my mesh and my coil made the mesh but the coil kept getting red and breaking at the post i had it pulled to the post. is the coil that comes with the RA Tank garbage? I am using a vmax set on the 3.0 setting...please help

hows the dual coil setup working?

I'm hoping it's a game changer for me, my dual coil tank is inconsistent due to the smoktech cartos. Also I can only use 100%pg liquid or else i would have to punch the cartos which i am not a fan of doing.

also if you are running thicker juices ie high VG % juices in your DCT then it will be hard for the small hole in the carto to keep up and you will end up running the carto dry. You can use thinner juice or punch a bigger hole....

The RA tank is a rebuild-able coil and wick tank. You can buy the wire and wick material to replace both the coil and wicks its at dfwvapor.com

I love my Vmax!

I just have 2 vmax's, havent had to touch the backup yet.
