How do you take the compression band out?

Is there supposed to be an o ring where the negative end of the battery rests?

Also the inner tube rotates fairly easily when it's locked down.

Hello all, I just received my first ELA and I have a question. I bought it lightly used. I'm using an aw imr 18490 and there is a small gap when I put the battery in and lock it down. I can get rid of this gap by compressing the whole mod then it sticks. Is this a common problem? The inner tube...

After a long search I've found an ELA! First batch satin finish! I want a flat bottom cap and was wondering if the super t switches are just as good or better than the satburn switches. Anybody have any experience with these? Thanks guys!
