lol yup...even out of a tank, with no cup in the bottom piece, i cannot screw it down all the way...used to be silky smooth.

it fits ok without the leg of the coil, probably why it sits so high. i push it down only far enough so that the cup base with the one leg is touching that pin in the bottom piece...i can see how that might affect the threading but those wings aren't that thin and i would imagine it would take...

anyone make one of these to allow a mini to take an 18650? the only supplier i can find is cigtech and they have been out of stock for forever...

unfortunately, no...as i stated before it doesn't screw on with or without the cup...i forgot that i had purchased the longer upper body separately so i took the original upper body that came with the sophia and tried to screw that on as well and the same issue. its got to be the threading on...
