400x400 mesh or 2mm SS cable, which do you prefer?

Hello ECFers I'm BACK!!!!
Hello ECFers, I'm back after life trials :-x but happy to be back. SUCKS I couldn't make the vape con. in Vegas.... Was in Seattle :tongue: Still running my Noble1 but it's taking a crap on me, it's been leaking liquid down the positive (inside) right onto the top of my battery nipples :laugh...- odogg_mia

Has anyone tried putting cotton or ekwool inside of a SS mesh? My assumption is the inside being a more absorbent material will wick a bit more and with the outter being mesh the coil would evenly heat the mesh and produce more vape then just the traditional SS mesh alone.- odogg_mia

Not at all... I run the same setup, coil gauge size and wrap amount and get 1.1ohms even burn. My question to you is how do you have the leads going to and from to positive and negative leads? I've had quite a few RBAs and this one is the easiest to wrap and go I've ever used :) I have found...- odogg_mia

Never tried the ceramic, I use 400 in my Kraken and 500 in my Noble1 I may try 635 just cause I have some but the 500 is rock'n :laugh: but I have read of people making DIY ceramic wick out of air stones (for fish tank) and a dremel to shape to your specs :) hope that helps- odogg_mia

Yes they told me even asked if I'd like one drilled but said they didn't put them on the 18350s because they didn't feel the smaller battery released enough gas to blow the tube :)
