In the UK it's virtually impossible not to save money if you were smoking regular cigarettes at about £7 a pack. I smoked roll-ups which work out about a quarter of the price and I think I'm breaking even or saving a bit. Maybe £20 a month saving. I'm a pretty cheap vaper though. I only use...
I've got this problem with two of my mini batteries. They actually charge OK but the problem is they don't work with certain cartos. How do you 'lift the post' in this way? Its pretty fiddly to get at and I don't want to damage the battery.
Just getting back into it myself after 2 years.
This'll be my third go. First time was an M401, then I got a USB Ego. Now I'm back on the Ego but I've bought a tank atomiser. It's pretty much the one thing I was missing. I was never happy with carts, dripping was better but fiddly. The tank is...
It's the USB eGo I like in particular. Somehow the extra length and the end cap just finish it off beautifully. The integrated USB works great for me too. I've heard other people don't like the button though, but it feels nice and 'clicky' to me.
The only other PVs that have really caught my...
I like dripping. I don't think I'd want something that did everything for me. It'd be like a self lighting cigarette. Dripping replaces lighting up (and rolling up) for me. I always feel like I'm missing something using a carto.
The main reason I wouldn't buy a juice mod is because they're...
I used to really like my 5v passthrough but the more I vape the less voltage is important. I prefer my eGo now at 3.2v, and that's not even with an LR atty.
I get plenty of vapour with the VG liquids I use, and as far as throat hit (or general sensation) goes I find the warmth of vapour is...
Where does this need to vape constantly without any momentary interruptions come from? Did you guys used to smoke 20 foot long cigarettes or something?
Resistance isn't the issue as I'm using them on an M401 battery, so a really low voltage. I tried removing the inner plug but bent my tweezers trying to pry it out - it's pretty solidly in there, and I think I might break the carto getting them out. I've broken the little plastic tube for...
I've tried the R3 in 510 and M40x types and found them to be terrible. Fiddly as hell to fill up and develop a burnt taste after the first 5 drags that doesn't go away. I wanted them to work but they just don't. They simply don't wick fast enough and are clearly a beta product.
I'll give the...
Dripping is no more hassle than lighting a cigarette. Hell, I roll cigarettes so it's actually easier.
But hey, everyone's different and it's good there are options.
Regular 510s. I don't find I get much advantage from LR and the flavour isn't as good, the batteries run down quicker and for some reason my metal drip tips don't seem to fit on them. I can also use them on any 510 PV or passthrough I have as well as my eGo.
I take big, long drags - which might...
Yeah, it'll often last longer than 10 drags. It depends on the size of the drips, how wet the atty is to begin with, how long your drags are etc. Just go by the flavour, if it tastes bland add 2 drops, burnt or dry, add 3.
It's hard to know what you're doing wrong. I've always dripped since my first day with my first ecig because I find it by far the easiest and most consistent way to vape.
You're right 2 drips should be enough for 10 drags or so. I feel I get a cigarette's worth of vaping from 2 drops, which...
I never have any mess at all when dripping, and hardly ever get juice in my mouth. I can drip when I'm walking around with no problems so I'm not sure what people are doing so wrong.
I'll go through how I do it, maybe it'll help.
I use plastic Dekang dripper bottles.
I use both stainless steel...
Of course you should expect better. I'm impressed with your restraint in keeping the vendor anonymous. If they have a vendor specific board on here go and moan at them over there. Otherwise name-and-shame, you'll be doing potential customers a service.
The eGo is a fantastic choice for a new vaper. I wish they were around when I started.
My advice would be not to get too hung up on quitting cigs entirely until you've got the hang of vaping. Once you've got into a system that works for you then the cigs will fall by the wayside. The little...
