I'm really liking the idea of this recipe, but I don't have tutti fruitti. I tried this just leaving out that flavor, but its a little too ... something. But definitely needs something sweeter to make it pop. Anyone have any ideas for a tutti frutti substitute?

My guess is that the juice you are making is just incredibly acidic. You normally only see Vinegar or Lemon juice in a mix since they both make the mix more acidic. Tea (real tea, so probably your NET), as well as your flavoring are acidic as well.

I don't know much on the topic of stevia, or if the liquid stevia that you found is safe. But if it is, I'd recomend diluting it in PG before using. Maybe 1 drop in 10ml of PG, then one drop of the diluted stevia in your mix.
