Went out for drinks with my dad, he got an Njoy to try out and I got a new one too. He went through his before the night was up. He's about 60/40 e/analog after a year. And he says he vapes heavily when he does.
But we both agreed it was an excellent companion for vaping and drinking. Just...
Just grabbed an Njoy King to give it a try. Impressed by the size/weight/hit/taste. Closest to an analog cigarette I've tried yet. I've moved on from tobacco flavors though, and the lack of refilling and recharging rules this out for me. But to get smokers converted, I think the Njoy King is the...
Just got one of these to try out after reading the positive posts here. Have to say I'm impressed. Hits good, very lightweight, and the closest any ecig has ever tasted to the real thing. The taste is so close (from what I can recall) that its a bit gross to me as I've moved on to fruit flavors...
Yeah it's a tradeoff either way. I'd prefer an all-in-one solution. Would be cool if they offered alternate PCCs, one with tank slots and one without. Good call on the battery case!
Yeah I have to agree, it's a nice little device. I'm still using my eGo-C at home primarily, but the eRoll is great for short trips and quick vapes when out and about.
Yeah I mentioned earlier that with the 1000 mah PCC battery, that's the effective mah of the device. Although I feel like the PCC should have included slots to carry extra tanks as the battery will far outlast the liquid!
Agreed on the atomizer cover, odd omission. The more I use the eRoll, the more I wish the actual cig wasn't under that PCC cover, perhaps somehow spring-clicked into place like a click pen. Or maybe a flip-top cover. It's kind of a hassle to open it up each time.
Overall though it's a nice...
Good review, I'd agree on the "80% flavor" comment. The only downside I've found is the small capacity of the tank (0.6 mL), the battery will far outlast the liquid. Wish the PCC held 2 spare tanks. But otherwise happy and impressed with the eRoll so far. I didn't have any of the manufacturing...
Agreed! The PCC effectively makes this a 1000 mah device. Being able to charge without disassembly is perfect. Depending on how long the 0.6 mL tanks last me, the eRoll is shaping up to be the perfect pocket/stealth companion vaping device. Might need to invest in one of those keychain juice tanks.
Just got the eRoll today. Initial impressions:
- much smaller than expected. A slight bit longer and thinner than a standard analog cig.
- pretty decent vapor production for the size, better than expected
Will be doing a test tonight to see how long a charge lasts, and how long a tank...
Yeah I agree, the BWB juices all feel "cleaner". Some juices can have a bit of a chemical taste, or something synthetic. I'm sure BWB isn't all-natural, but they vape smooth.
The fact that it charges with no disassembly makes it very interesting for those wanting a small/stealthy vaper. The only downside is the small tanks. Depending on the price, I'm gonna give it a go if under $100 for the kit. I'd love to have something less obvious than my eGo-C for certain...
He mentions in the video that it's best as a now-and-then thing. I watched this a while back and I think I agreed with his overall take. E-cigs still give a better overall hit and experience to replace smoking, but the Ploom has its own niche.
I've had a Ploom for a while. It's sat unused as I found it a bit lackluster initially. Decided to give it another go the other day, and I am enjoying it much more than before. When I first tried it I was still having a few cigarettes a day. Now that I am 100% vape and not chain-inhaling even...
Just hit the 5 month mark on Friday. Former pack-a-day smoker for about 20 years. The other day I was hanging with some smoker friends, and when they left, the ashtray on the back porch next to me grossed me out. I realized then that I was no longer a smoker.
